Gatcombe makes its magical return
The Magic Millions Festival of British Eventing is returning to Gatcombe Park for the first time since 2019.
The event, which takes place from 5 to 7 August 2022, offers three days of action-packed eventing at the home of HRH The Princess Royal.
As well as the customary cross country, Friday sees the Pony Club inter-branch team show jumping in the main arena and the Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse Competition for four- and five-year olds in the Harrington Arena.
While the cross country takes centre stage on the Saturday and Sunday, there’s still plenty going on elsewhere, including show jumping in the main arena on Saturday and the Pony Club team show jumping for 80cm and 90cm on the same day.
FAMILY ATTRACTIONS
Alongside the sport, there are plenty of other attractions, including a host of family entertainment such as a Shetland Pony Grand National, the Duke of Beaufort’s Hounds and Ye Olde Redtail Falconry Display.
And, as well as the ever-popular shopping village, brand new for 2022 is Gatcombe Farmers Market, offering plenty of fresh produce to make visitors’ mouths water. Gatcombe has been missed and promises to be a weekend for all to remember.
Don’t miss out; tickets are available now at festivalofbritisheventing.com.
