Hone your skills at British Eventing training camps

Training camps can be an invaluable way of honing your skills, meeting new people and of course enjoying a few days away with your friends (human and equine). British Eventing has a range of training camps on offer with BE accredited coaches at a number of top facilities across the country.

What are BE training camps?

Most British Eventing training camps take place over two days, with the opportunity to stay over for at least one night. There are at least two ridden sessions each day consisting of, for example, dressage, show jumping on grass, cross country riding and speed training. In addition, you may also enjoy unmounted training sessions such as course walks, horse fitness, a talk from a farrier or advice from a feeding company.

Who are the coaches?

Our camps are delivered by British Eventing accredited coaches, for example Jeanette Brakewell, Sue Chadwick, Jane Graham, Tyler Cassells, Tina Ure and many more. You are guaranteed the highest standards of coaching from coaches with specific eventing knowledge.

Who are the camps aimed at?

Our camps are suitable for a range of horse and rider levels, from riders new to the sport and thinking of giving BE a go to more advanced combinations. They are a great way to meet new people with your passion for horses, really focus on your training and learn some valuable skills. Simply check the description on the camp you wish to book on to.

What if I don’t know anyone there?

No problem! The camps are designed to be welcoming, open and inclusive. In fact, many of our Camp participants come alone but certainly leave with a number of new friends at the end.

Where will my horse stay?

Stables will be provided on site and often bedding is included in the overall price.

Do I have to be a member of British Eventing?

No, all British Eventing training is open to both members and non-members of British Eventing, but British Eventing members do benefit from a discount. Day Pass membership starts at just £15 for one year – find out more about British Eventing membership HERE.
